January 31 REALLY NOT HAPPY NEWS Shiloh is very ill. The prospects look very dim and no matter what once again not cheap...it is going to be a very difficult decision for Ruth. What can I say? I feel like writing a very heart felt lullaby...that would make even the wretched feel hope... January 25 Okay, at last I have almost got my other website in order, well, uh huh. marginally, but it is up and running so to speak... http://www.kwacoart.com/indexchalktest1.html ...and what the hell, we will see if anything happens like me getting back to work and out of the house. So... if there is any body out there looking at this blog of mine...hello...are you there? And you know about a school district or even a teacher who would dig what I do...PLEASE, BE KIND AND LET ME KNOW, not because i'm starving, but just because i'd like to get back to doing something that seems worthwhile... anuary 20 We got back from Truth or Consequences after a four day visit. It was 70 plus degrees when we left and 39 degrees at home, but it still is good to be in our own house, our own bed... January 12 ![]() I've spent the last week reviving my old persona of "Chalk-Talk Mc Draw" with the idea to start touring schools again...you can see what so far is on that web site at http://www.kwacoart.com/indexchalktest1.html ...it will be another week or two before I get all the tabs and links to all the pages... Jan. 5 Ruth and I took Rowan and Geno out to THE INDIA HOUSE last night for a belated birthday meal for Rowan, who is 33 and expecting June 15 to be three of them...they will have a beauty for sure... ...as for me, I am busy this week resurrecting my old CHALK-TALK performance art piece, so I can start touring schools again, as well as getting prepared for my April 9th gig doing a center piece for a fund raising dinner for the Jewish Families Association at the Albuquerque Museum of Fine Art. Jan.12 as for the guitar project... Molly is completelysanded down also has her new saddle/bridge thingme glued in place...I have yet to re-string her so I am a little nervous aout the whole thing...will she sound just the same? January 3 ...if nothing else to put right this year, a main project is to fix the old case that used to house Molly Gibson, and put Molly back to looking a bit more like she was at one time... she is even getting a new bridge finally and that was the one thing I wanted replaced when a half-rate dishonest guitar repair guy worked on her in 1982, took off (I believe for his own purposes)her genuine tortoise shell pick guard and put a crumby varnish on it that cracked to a zillion fractures within a month...and if I ever see him again it will be too soon...
